
ABOUT
Francisco (Paquito) Aranda is an Award-Winner musician & drummer, originally from San Luis Potosí Mexico. Paquito started playing drums at the age of 14. At 16 he began his professional musical career performing on tours with artists and bands in different venues and festivals throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
Francisco is currenty the front man and leader of his solo artist project Hollywood Sirena. This project is infused with punk rock energy and dreamy vocals and synthesizers. The blend of Punk-Rock and Indie-Pop. Big drums, intense guitars and a solid Bass conform the sound of Hollywood Sirena.
Francisco is a full-time member of the Indie-Alternative band The Citie. He began collaborating with The Citie in 2019 when they were recording and producing their album “1:23” released in late 2020.
In 2019 he is invited by Beatriz Solís, daughter of Grammy Award-Winner and iconic singer Marco Antonio Solís, to play drums and percussion on her Tour around the United States. He was also the drummer for the Tony Award-Nominated musical, “Found: A New Musical”, directed by Moritz Von Stuelpnagel.
In 2020 Francisco composed the original soundtrack for the Award-winner film Crimson’s Cabaret. Mr. Aranda won the Award for Best Sound Design at the 2022 Birsamunda International Film Awards from India 2022. The film also won the award for Best Experimental Film at the 2021 Cannes World Film Festival.
